User Responsibilities

• Use the App in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide accurate information when using App features
• Verify all recall information independently before taking action
• Not use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not attempt to access, modify, or damage our systems

Limitations and Disclaimers

No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• All recall information will be complete or current
• The App will meet your specific requirements
• Any defects will be corrected

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RecallAlert and its developers shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Damages resulting from reliance on recall information
• Any damages related to use of the App

Product Scanning and AI Features

• AI Accuracy: We use Google Gemini to assist in identifying products. This technology is experimental and may produce inaccurate results.
• Verification Required: You must visually verify that the product identified by the App matches the product you scanned.
• Informational Only: Scan results constitute a preliminary check only. Do not rely solely on the App for safety decisions.
• We are not liable for incorrect product identification, false positives, or missed recalls.

App Features

All features in RecallAlert are provided free of charge, including:

• Unlimited product scans
• Advanced notifications and alerts
• Data export functionality
• AI-powered insights

Intellectual Property

• The App and its content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App
• Recall data is sourced from public government databases and manufacturer announcements
• User-generated content (scans, saved recalls) remains your property

Privacy and Data Use

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Push Notifications

• Push notifications are sent only with your explicit consent
• You can modify notification preferences in the App settings
• Notification frequency depends on recall activity and your selected preferences
• We are not responsible for delayed or failed notification delivery

User Content and Feedback

• You retain ownership of photos and content you upload
• You grant us a license to process your content to provide our services

• Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
• Other government agencies and manufacturer announcements

We are not responsible for the accuracy or completeness of third-party data.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the App to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use automated tools to access or scrape our data
• Interfere with the App's operation or other users' experience

Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App:
